I loved it. Daniel FINALLY getting to use a repository. It is about DANGED time. jedibuttercup and I have suspected for a while that if Daniel didn't have the ATA gene before he certainly did after his second ascension because if they didn't delete his memories that time they probably didn't take the ATA gene either. (He had his memories because he was able to say with certainty he didn't defeat Anubis.) Although if I remember corectly in Lost City Daniel was the one who made the repository appear so maybe he had the gene then. Maybe Merlin's repository was constructed before the Goa'uld became such a threat so it could react to Vala. Sam never got close enough to one that hadn't been activated to find out about former hosts we just know someone with a whole symbiote can't activate it. (Sorry for rambling I've thought a lot about Ancient Repositories for a project I'm working on.)

I loved the shades of Maternal Instinct with Daniel kicking a** and taking names with the lightning.
