Nine more days: SG-1 Gen Fic Day and Teal'c Alphabet Soup
Anyone remember how Gen Fic Day got started back in October? How there was such a dearth of gen fic that I threw up my hands and openly begged people to write?
So. In tagging for
sg1_debrief, there have been exactly three gen fics in the past week.
July 8 can't get here fast enough... :)
We've got nine days left until we celebrate Daniel's birthday with Gen Fic Day, garnished with Teal'c Alphabet Soup. Hope you're all writing! Or at least thinking about writing. ;) There are four letters still left unclaimed for Teal'c, by the way. If there are still unclaimed letters by Wednesday, I'll open the post to seconds. But we've got 22 individual authors so far, and I would be truly delighted if we could get a full complement of 26 Teal'c lovers for this! So please, spread the word to your flist: anyone who wants to write 100 gen words on Teal'c, please sign up!

And...gah. Aurora is very sad.
Are you around to AIM with? I need to bounce ideas.

Where's Sam when you need her? :)

Also that my entry probably fits better in Gen Fic Day, but I'm jamming that square peg into the round hole of alphabet soup anyway.

My fic in my head is already seeming long and out of control. God knows what'll happen when I start writing it.

(Would that my conflict laden post-Other Side fic would do the same.)

For Sam, we specifically said 100-200 words, and even that didn't work out to well. Now, it's just the 100 word minimum. I have absolutely no problems with a novel. ;)

Sigh. Hammond will always and forever rock.
