Most of June was focused on SG-1 Gen Fic Day and Bra'tac (and Jaffa) Alphabet Soup. I mentioned in a post to Alphabet Soup authors that this might have been the last Soup, and several of you lovely people still seem to feel that there's room out there for more Soups on other topics. We'll see how it goes. I'll certainly be happy to be proven wrong. :) If you have ideas/suggestions for future Soup themes that might be broad enough to get sufficient volunteers, I'd love to have them! All previous Soups can be found here.

My own fic contributions were R is Reassessment, an early S1 Bra'tac perspective on the Tau'ri, and On the Outside, Looking In (Season Four), the S4 section of my ep-related drabbles from outside POV.

I didn't have that much time to rec this month, although I am delighted to report that I did achieve the rather important milestone of 800 recs this month! \0/ You all know the drill by now: All the fics were recced at [info]stargateficrec and archived at [personal profile] figs_sg1_rec. The SG-1 Rec Master List is still amazingly current. Since I am no longer reccing specific categories, I've identified the main characters of the recs when necessary.

Five Lies Sha're Told, by Smilebackwards (PG)

Between Two Waves of the Sea, by Stringertheory (PG) (team thinkiness and alt realities and timelines)

The Money's in Syndication, by Pepper (PG) (team and fourth wall humor/meta)

Rings, by Tallulah Rasa (PG) (Jack and Daniel friendship)

Of Dreams and Desperations, by Magistrate (PG-13) (Sam and Sha're AU friendship)

The Memory of Race, by Pipisafoat (PG) (Egeria)

A Pleasant Road, by Aces (PG) (Teal'c and Cam friendship)

Five Ways Janet Didn't Die, by Rachel500 (PG)

If you are interested in reccing at [info]stargateficrec, the volunteer post should be up on the comm in the next day or so.

In other reccing news, [community profile] sg1genrecs has been running a Vala theme for quite a while now, but the comm has been mostly quiet. I'll be doing admin duties there in the next day or so, announcing a new theme, so if you've got a Vala fic to rec, now's your chance.
