I think Jack has a lot of asterisks in his life, so to speak. :)
And yes, Jack can't stand any form of incompetence, which makes his playing dumb doubly ironic.
YES. Although it makes sense: to him, incompetence=useless, and that's often the image he's trying to project so he'll be underestimated.
We all miss Janet, sigh.
