Honestly, compared to the science on some of the SGA Big Finish stories, this one didn't phase me (it fits within Stargate science, works well for the story, etc) and I think it (and the one Claudia Black reads that Shanks is a second on) are my two favorite of the ones I've listened to. I also had a moment of confusion when Daniel was shocked at seeing his own death, until I realized it was early enough he wasn't used to that yet :)
And, yeah, I've seen people (including the Big Finish people) made a big deal about how MS has a GREAT Hammond impression, but it sounds really poor to me. *shrugs* His Jack and Sam are much better. He's also got that Daniel guy down pretty well.
