September Recs

I'll be off for the next three weeks, but after reccing forty (!) different fics this month, I thought it might be useful to have them all together in one place.

Please note that all links lead not to the story, but to the detailed rec for that fic that was posted in stargateficrec. The recommendations include warnings (character death, violence, etc.); pairings (if any); a brief description; a snippet of the story; and links, when available, to the author's LJ and website as well as the actual fic. The setup allows you to avoid any spoilers and go directly to the story if that is your preference; just ignore everything in the "Why This Must Be Read" section. :)

I will probably go back and put together posts like this for the recs I've made in previous months, with the hope of creating an eventual master list of recs.

Thanks to everyone who has let me know they've enjoyed these recs, and thanks to the wonderful admins and posters at stargateficrec for making it all possible.

The categories I recced this month were Teamy Goodness, Gen, and Daniel Jackson. It will come as no surprise that I was a little, erm, enthusiastic in the Daniel department. :) Good thing there's a twenty-five rec limit per month, huh?
