Janet Alphabet Soup update

Just to remind you all that Janet Alphabet Soup is due on May 18th, on SG-1 Gen Fic Day! A few of you have mentioned that you've got gen fic saved for the occasion - I'm very excited about that. :)

Also, squee! I finally have the perfect Alphabet Soup icon, thanks to samantilles! Take a look at her icon post for all the variations - lots of nice ideas there for future soups. :)

The rec archive is here on Dreamwidth now, yay!

ivorygates very helpfully explained why you can't import into communities: since communities are owned by mods but the content is essentially owned by the people who post on the community, getting the right kind of permission is just too messy. So sg1genrecs , which was going to be my rec archive here, suddenly... isn't.

Instead, I'm throwing it open to anyone who wants to rec gen SG-1 fic.

I don't know if this is going to be met by an echoing thunderous silence - I hope it isn't! I've written an FAQ which hopefully explains how the comm will work. If you're interested in spreading some SG-1 gen squee, go rec your favorite fic! And please spread the word to your own readers (subscribers? circle?) - the more, the merrier.
