May fics and recs

Two ficathons were due this month: Janet Alphabet Soup for Gen Fic Day (which I just realized I never cross-posted here - sorry, guys) and tealc_ficathon. Happily, I managed both for a change! My Janet fic was L is for Lockdown; my Teal'c fic was Beauty in Skill.

Let us not think of Stargate Summer. Er.

I spent a little more time reccing this month! :) Sam and Daniel friendship is an old and well-loved category, but I also had the privilege of of debuting a new category over at stargateficrec: Five Things. I got a little rec-happy there...

In other reccing news, I have now recced 475 SG-1 stories, of which all but 17 are gen. (They're all available on the archive; the alphabetized list is updated through February.) I have also made the hilarious discovery that I am now responsible for over ten percent of all the recs over at stargateficrec. While I hope no one finds my obsessiveness enthusiasm too alarming, I am not quite sure what to make of this most amusing statistic!

The solution, of course, is to have more people reccing. ::nods firmly:: So go sign up to rec just four fics next month! Or wander over to sg1genrecs and post a rec there. I do what I can, but we all want to spread the squee, right? :)
