Gen Fic Day and Alphabet Soup update

Monday is over just about everywhere by now :) but we're still missing eight letter of our Bra'tac (and Jaffa) Alphabet Soup. Hopefully, we'll get the rest of them soon, but in the meantime, I'm extending Gen Fic Day for a few more hours. Regarding Bra'tac (and Jaffa) Alphabet Soup: we've got 20 out of 26 fics so far, clocking in at about 20,000 words. I've sent messages regarding the outstanding stories; one author has responded and will be posting shortly, but I haven't yet heard from the others. This is unfair to those wonderful cooks who did get their stories posted on time, I know! Obviously RL can sometimes interfere, and it might be something as prosaic as a lack of internet access. Let's just hope that everyone is okay -- and if I don't get replies by tomorrow, we'll throw those last five letters open to all takers so our Bra'tac (and Jaffa) Alphabet Soup can be served in full. When that happens, I'll edit this entry to include the link to the anthology.
