January: fic, fandom, recs

Oooh, do you think I could actually manage to do this once a month this year?

I ficced! Not only that, but it's resuming a project that's been lying dormant for a year. So go me. :) Season Seven of the On the Outside, Looking In series is here.

We'll be serving up On-world Alphabet Soup next month (I can't decide if it should be "On-world" or "On-World" or possibly "Onworld") and I am going to write a story I've wanted to write for literally years. At least, I hope I am... If you didn't sign up, the Soup is always part of Gen Fic Day, so you could write any gen SG-1 fic for the occasion and find it happily welcomed (hint hint).

Other than that, I have quietly passed the milestone of over a year of running stargateficrec , with thankfully no drama (except fics in the drama category, heh). I did six recs this month, under the cut. You all know the drill by now: they were recced at stargateficrec and archived at figs_sg1_rec. The Master List of Fic Recs is up to date.
