This is the perfect time to wander over to stargateficrec’s volunteer posts and sign up, as angelsgracie and medie will be looking over the list of volunteers in the next day or two. The comm had twenty-seven volunteers reccing different categories in July, but only nineteen in August – we can’t allow this scandalous state of affairs to continue! Pick your favorite genre or character or pairing and sign up to rec just four fics over the month of September. (Yes, I know I usually rec more than that, but it's not actually necessary.) It’s easy, you get to spread the squee, and it’s one of the nicest ways to thank your favorite authors: by reccing their stories so that others can enjoy them, too! Check out the community’s FAQ if you have any questions, or e-mail the very helpful mods. Consider it a birthday gift for me! Or, y’know, you could just write team or friendship fic. That would make me pretty happy, too. :)

Sneaky! Actually that one is two-thirds done. LOL.

It ain't ending up a comment fic, but for your birthday, I'll try and polish it a bit better.

In the meantime, I could point you to either some partly self written crackfic, or cool stuff by others I've read in recent days. Heh. (and I already signed up at ficrec weeks ago. :-p)

Or... hmmm. Maybe I'll tackle that LnC/SG-1 crossover fic with your birthday in mind for a deadline! That would work, too. :)
