Daniel discovers for the first time that different countries/cultures celebrate different holidays/festivals.

The tribal ceremony that SG-1 agrees unanimously and wordlessly will Never Be Mentioned Again.

The all-team freak out (suitably restrained on Teal'c's part) after a mission goes totally right and as originally planned, and without incident.

Explaining the vast variety of ways that the Tau'ri celebrate the Winter Solstice (including such things as persisting in eating heavy British winter-suitable food in the Australian or South Africa at Christmas during their summer), and the richness and variety of the culture of our planet.

P.s. If you didn't write much, didn't that mean that real life was sucking up your time? Sometimes that's a very good thing.

Thank you so much for the link; I don't believe I've read that story before.

Okay, how about this:

In "Fallen/Homecoming" Daniel says to Jonas that Jack told him Jonas was a good man.

What did Jack really think of Jonas? He says to him, at goodbye, "You earned it," but what did he mean by that?

I didnt remember the opening paragraphs of the story, but I had indeed read it before and it's a wonderful take on these events. Thanks for the reminder.
