March fic and recs, plus new Soup coming

March was crazy busy in RL. April will be busier. :)

In fic, I signed up for genprompt_bingo and wrote my first entry: ...And Eat Pie for the Explorer square. I adore Teal'c, I really do. :)

Also, I finally read through all the On-world Alphabet Soup. I am constantly amazed at the sheer variety and incredible talent of all you lovely people. Which is why I'm getting ready for another Soup. ;) More on this below.

I managed six recs this month! You all know the drill by now: they were recced at stargateficrec and archived at figs_sg1_rec. The Master List of Fic Recs is current through January; not sure when I'll have the chance to update.

Finally: Gen Fic Day and Alphabet Soup! Yes, I have a new one planned, probably for the last week in May. I would like to get the signups done now, though, to give people time to claim a letter (and an episode - we're doing episode related this time) and plenty of writing time, too. Particularly since Pesach is in exactly two weeks and I will be... slightly distracted, heh.

So think of which ep you'd like to claim, and I'll get the claims post up sometime on Tuesday.

You know, I am so tempted to just have you give me a letter and an episode and see what sort of madness results... but, unlike letters, there are episodes I don't like very much. :/

Also, I was very much amused to see two people I know primarily from White Collar fandom showing up in your recs this past month. Small internet!

Happily, with over 200 episodes, it shouldn't be too difficult for the cooks to find 26 different ones to work with. Poor Jonas; I'm guessing that aside for the Daniel ones, S6 will go largely unclaimed.

Many multifannish authors tend to be... eh, monogamous in their writing, moving from one fandom to the next. You're a tad unusual in that you seem to actively write in multiple fandoms at once. We approve. :)
