In memoriam: Sid

I was shocked to hear that Sid - sid on LJ, sid on DW - passed away last week. She'd been recovering from surgery, but her last update nine days ago suggested that she was doing well; presumably there were unexpected complications.

Sid was a generous, warm, happy person and a fantastic part of SG-1 fandom. I loved her enthusiasm. Despite being mostly a J/D fan, she wrote wonderful gen fic and ship fic as well. I've often recced her: here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.

Clear skies, Sid. The fandom is emptier without you.
