May Recs: Teal'c and Daniel friendship and Episode Related

This month, I once again got to champion Teal'c and Daniel friendship, of which there is never, ever enough. I also recced Episode Related, which has taken a huge leap in popularity ever since it got its own category instead of being included in the "Other genre" umbrella. It's always signed up for months ahead, so if you want to claim it for youself while it's still 2008, you might want to go and sign up now (not that I'm hinting or anything, cough).

The links below actually lead to the recommendations at the rec archive at figs_sg1_rec, but they were all posted first at stargateficrec, which is a marvelous resource and deserves everyone's participation and support.

Well, I went over there with the intention of reccing Sam/Teal'c friendship, but someone beat me to the friendship:Other category. :P

So I was forced to ask for Teal'c and Teal'c/Vala instead. Because you never have too much Teal'c love.

(Also? I squeed quite loudly at the prospect of Teal'c/Jack friendship fic. Because those two together are made of all kinds of win.)

May I point out that there is nothing wrong with getting in line, though? I usually sign up sometime mid-month. If someone would sign up after me, I'd just get in line for the month after that.

If you're going to wait until I run out of friendship:other categories to rec, you'll be waiting for a while... :)

On the other hand? Any form of Teal'c is absolutely for the win!

(Also, you can kinda sorta cheat by signing up for a pairing and making your recs friendship based more than ship based. The mods don't seem to mind.)

Sounds like fun. Frankly, June is impossible for me because I'm going to be away for about half of it. *eep internet withdrawal* Good thing I'll be too busy diving and snorkeling and stuff to start yelling at Sam and pointing a pistol at Jack. *snicker* And I should have lots of beach time and plane time to ponder good stuff to write. (Speaking of which, I'm working on a Daniel-does-Cyrano bar fight idea...if I get it typed out any time soon, would you be interested in taking a quick look at it? It probably won't be this week or next week. I have mutant pollen to write for romanticalgirl. *wry grin*)

And I've just taken up a recap to do at redial, so I'm going to give that a try first, and maybe later in the summer I can sign up to do some fic recc'ing. I'll keep it in mind. :)

Yes, reccing is a blast! And if you can't sign up for June, maybe you can manage for July, as you suggest. They're always looking for more reccers!
