[community profile] stargateficrec is such a marvelous resource. They're always looking for more reccers, and you don't have to be as obsessed enthusiastic as I am to qualify – just four recs a month per category, or one per week, is all the commitment you need to make. So if you have some favorite fics, why not volunteer? Spread some fannish glee!

In February, I greedily snatched the Sam and Daniel friendship category again. I also had the pleasure of reccing Episode Related – that's fics that rewrite episodes, or flesh out missing scenes, or offer episode tags, or even present scenarios based directly on the events of the episode. The stories recced below represent some of my favorites in these categories, and I'm a little stunned to see that I've managed to rec 170 (!) of my favorite SG-1 stories so far. So much for those who claim there's little call for gen fic. Here's hoping I never run out!

While I usually like to include links to previous recs that fall into these categories, I'm not going to do that here. For the Sam and Daniel friendship recs, I'll just refer you to the last time I recced that category. As for Episode Related – I'm afraid it's just too broad a category. There are seventy-six recs listed, to date, in the memories section under episode related. That's a bit much to add here, don't you think? :)

Please note that the links lead to the full recommendation in [info]stargateficrec and not to the fics themselves. All stories recced this month are gen.

The master list of fic recs can be found here.

I have one more rec to make in the episode related category: one that I did not rec in stargateficrec, because I couldn't follow their posting guidelines without ruining the impact of the story. So here's my final episode related fic of the month:

Moebius Twist, by [profile] telepathicpixie

Drabble, AU Moebius ending. Fishing by the pond... all of them. Any more detail will render the fic irrelevant, so just go ahead and read it for yourself. :)
