So, we've been discussing Teal'c's statement to Jonas in Memento that SG-1 has been to 133 planets. Speculation abounded as to how serious Teal'c actually was, and I wondered if there's canon evidence in S6 of Teal'c pwning Jonas.

DESCENT! Where Jonas says they should be buddies because they're aliens and Teal'c deadpans, "Jonas Quinn, are you suggesting an alien conspiracy?"

Ie: Yes, Teal'c LOVES pulling Jonas's leg.

And pepper_field chimed in with the exact dialogue:

Jonas: I mean, those of us who are not originally from the planet Earth…gotta stick together, right?

[Teal'c turns quickly to face Jonas, a forbidding look on his face.]

Teal'c: Are you suggesting an alien conspiracy?

[Jonas, still eating the banana, shrugs, surprised.]

Jonas: No! [Teal'c continues to stare at Jonas.] Oho… [Jonas laughs nervously.] Of course, yes. I…I was warned about your occasional use of humor. It's… Got me!

Further down the thread, Pepper added, "I love that someone - I wonder who - actually warned Jonas about Teal'c. Hee."

And I said, "Oh, now there is a fic tag just begging to be written! :D"
