So, I've recently gained the opportunity to rewatch a very old friend, from back in my high school days: 21 Jump Street. Complete with young!PDL and Steven Williams (aka General Vidrine), yes! (Of course I loved Johnny Depp back in those days - I was a teenager! I was practically the target audience.) (And wow, I'd forgotten how absolutely beautiful and talented Holly Robinson is. She sings the title song, too - and came 2nd in the credits after Depp, and first in S5 after Depp left. Pretty unusual for a black actress in the '80s, isn't it?)
I'd never actually watched the whole series before, so I've been skimming along, and... well.
I knew I would be seeing PDL and Vidrine, natch. And Colonel Danning was a given, too. And I should've realized there would be at least one Urgo cameo, heh. But what I really wasn't expecting - and made me laugh out loud - was the other Stargate actor bingo I got to play. Don S. Davis as a semi-regular as the local prison warden, AND a principal! Narim in multiple roles! Colonel Chekov with American accent in multiple roles! Harlan! Walter the Chevron Guy (baby faced like anything with a full head of hair)! Bill Lee (with plenty of dark hair) and Maybourne in a single ep! There were probably more that I missed, too.
Vancouver: a really small place. :)

I've never seen 21 Jump Street, but I've heard it was good.

Looking back at 21 Jump Street is an interesting experience. They did try to face the issues of the day. The incessant smoking would practically give it an R rating now! And the characters in S1 say things like "heck" - even the bad guys. Oh, '80s. :) :) :)
