I was very happy with the Jack drabbles, so let's go for another round, shall we?
Prompt me with gen Teal'c prompts! No promises of first come first served, and classic team will more likely get a response than S9-10, but I hope to do twelve all together.

"Don't you like ballet, Teal'c?" Cassie asked anxiously. "I'm performing after intermission."
"I am sure I will enjoy it," Teal'c assured her, his voice suddenly gentle.
When Cassie left to change, Janet whispered, "Now tell me how you really feel."
Teal'c admitted, "I see no purpose in watching children walk on their toes in costumes with poorer taste than..." He stopped.
Janet twinkled at him. "Yes, the costumes are gaudy and the dancing is lousy. But the children learn grace and confidence -- and joy."
Teal'c considered. "Yes. That is reason enough."

This is so much how this happens in the real world. My stepfather came to America from Palestine (it was in Jordan then) as a student, and after he married my mother and it became impossible for him to move with us back to his village, he had many such moments where we had to teach him how we saw things before he could appreciate them or see them as acceptable.
Janet makes a good guide, and this piece in just a very few lines lets us see why she was the right choice to become Cassies mother.
