Ten days to go!

With ten days left until Bra'tac (and Jaffa) Alphabet Soup goes live on the 24th, how's everyone doing with their fics? Choose your chevron level below:

Chevron One encoded! (I'm, um, thinking about it. Yeah, that's it.)

Chevron Two encoded! (I have some good ideas, but they're still pretty vague.)

Chevron Three encoded! (I know what I want to write, but I haven't started typing yet.)

Chevron Four encoded! (I've got a few stray bits of dialogue and the odd paragraph or two...)

Chevron Five encoded! (I've started writing! I'm getting there!)

Chevron Six encoded! (My rough draft is complete, and I've sent it to my beta reader! Go me!)

Chevron Seven... LOCKED! (Oh, that? Finished it ages ago. ::yawns::)

I'm personally at Chevron Five but I've been trying to get to Six all week. Yet here I still am, at Five. But hey, spinning is much cooler than not-spinning, right?

In case anyone feels concerned that I haven't taken it far enough, I would like to point out that I wrote every single college and grad school paper on the last night before it was due on a typewriter, and the one time that I made a concerted effort to write the paper the right way, with plenty of time to edit, I rewrote the introductory paragraph over, and over, and over, and it was ghastly each time.

I would also like to point out that I've never turned in a paper late, although I've come within minutes of it.

Chevron Four encoded. Though there may be a problem with the dialing sequence; it's been hanging on chevron four for weeks. We're starting a debug program and are hopeful that we won't have to reboot the 'gate.

And also that it won't explode.
