abyssiania4077 is amazing.
Abyssis gives us two sets of phone calls that never were: five messages that were left on Daniel's voice mail while he was Ascended and were subsequently deleted, and five telephone conversations that took place in various AUs. The deleted voice mails are poignant and wistful in turns, and the last one will break your heart. As for the AUs.... Oh, my. There's the utter exhaustion of Moebius!Daniel, and the grimness of apocafic!Daniel and character death!Daniel (Daniel and Teal'c going off is gah!), and the if-only of validated!Daniel.
But it's that last one that had me in tears, even on rereading. Just beautiful and aching and utterly perfect.
The whole gang is here, in one way or another. But this is an incredible, beautiful Daniel fic, and one you should go read immediately.

But still really glad you liked it (I really did write it partly in response to the whole "that Daniel Jackson guy needs more fic" so part of it really was for you).
That Daniel guy needs lots and lots of hugs though.
