I wish, I wish I had the time right now to settle in properly. It'll have to wait, sigh.

First thing on my list will be figuring out how to import not only my LJ, but also the rec archive - possibly as a community, this time. We'll see. Also, finding everyone on my LJ flist who has migrated here! Dreamchasers should help with that. (Also, figuring out technical things like linking to comms and users on DW instead of typing URLs...)

I haven't quite figured it out yet. Tejas was right that it's relatively easy (and easier than it was at first, I think), but I still haven't managed to import comments - and c vs. f is all about the comments, so I really want to get that done! And with the rec archive, all I've managed to import so far are the tags. Not all that helpful!

Still, one step at a time - getting here was a really big one. :)

It took forever to import the comments. In fact, I finally went too bed. I woke up to find that they had "imported successfully" over night, so don't give up. It just takes awhile for that task.

I read somewhere that there are still some bugs in importing a second journal, so you may want to wait until they get that fixed. In the meantime, I have a question for you. Did you figure out how to post to both journals at once, or did you update separately? I've not been able to find that option on the Post page.

But yeah, this place is still squeee-worthy!! :D
