Happy Birthday, Redial!

redial_the_gate's birthday is actually tomorrow, on June 20th: the day when abyssinia4077 first created the comm and we started to put all the details together. A year later, we're poised to start rewatching Season Three and we've got 229 people watching the comm. Redial has been SG-1 fandom at its best: friendly, squeeful, and generous beyond words. Thanks, guys. :)

Why not join the celebration by joining in the fun? We're currently voting for Season Three's default icon, and pepper_field is running the redial international chat for Into the Fire. And on Tuesday, we go live with majorsamfan's recap of the season opener!

Of course, as a mod, I have to be impartial about the icons and not try to campaign for the utterly delightful icon which depicts the wall on Abydos about Ra taking his slaves through the Stargate, so I'll just encourage you to click on the link and decide for yourselves...

Bad moderator notcampaigning! ;-) Especially since that other hieroglyph one is so cool, and the one with the team, and the one with the Stargate, or the other one with the Stargate or the one... Hee!

You know, I had a couple ideas for this go round, and never got time to play with them! Maybe next season. :-) We're certainly not lacking for gorgeous choices.

Oooh, yes. I love the other hieroglyph, too. (That's not a Stargate, did you realize? An actual hieroglyph that looks like the Gate!) Not that I'm going to say what I voted for or anything..

So so many beautiful ones, with so many different concepts.
