Teal'c Alphabet Soup: last call for first-time claimants!

I cannot believe that J is still left! I thought it would go first!

Last call, folks: in an hour or two, I'll open the claims post to authors wanting seconds. So if you haven't yet signed up for Teal'c Alphabet Soup and you want to try your hand at J or X (100 words minimum by Tuesday), the time is right now. Go claim a letter!

ETA: J has been claimed. Just X left now. C'mon, we've got 25 authors - do I hear a 26th? Going once, going twice...

ETA2: YES! X has been claimed! I am beyond pleased. The awesomeness of Teal'c has carried the day!

Just a quick question regarding length - I know for the past alphabets you were looking for more along drabble to mini fic length of about 500 words max, is it okay to go beyond this?

Because the awesome of Teal'c knows no bounds :D

Oh, I have up on max limits. :)

For Sam, as I said, we had a three-day deadline, so it was supposed to be 100-200 words long. (Most went over.) For Daniel, I think I said 500 words max, and there were perhaps 2 or 3 that didn't go over. :)

For Teal'c, the 100 word minimum stands, but there's no maximum limit. If it doesn't fit within a comment or two, you can simply post the first few paras in the comments for Gen Fic Day on Tuesday and link to the rest on your own LJ - keeping it locked, or not yet posted, until then.

And yes, Teal'c's awesomeness knows no bounds! :D Now if I can just get two more volunteers, so we have 26 distinct writers...
