Hee. Actually, editing comments is overrated, I think. Mostly because I can't usually tell WHY people did it in the first place.

That does happen to me. Sometimes, though, I wonder if lj sends the e-mail with the corrected information in the first place. It drives me crazy when I can't tell what was changed!

Also, I'm a lot less of a perfectionist about my comments than I could be, and I'll usually leave them alone if they're not too heinous.

If you catch it quick enough, sometimes it does only send the "edited" version...I think.

It definitely sends all of them. So if someone makes multiple edits on a comment, you're going to get multiple notifications. Yes, you can see the difference. Just skip all of them but the last. :)

I don't think I'd use it for typos as much as mistakes in html coding. Because that can REALLY mess things up.
