There's a writing meme going around lj that everyone's doing fig. I even ended up doing a bizarre scriptstyle prequel to Insurance SNAFU in mine (http://aurora-novarum.livejournal.com/85923.html), but I recommend checking out EVERYONE'S. *does love of writing meta dance*

Oh and there's Stargate news (with spoilers) listed at sg1_solutions (well all over the place, but their Friday news roundup is helpful).

Indeed, that was a massive overight, as it's a lovely story, and so much fun! As well as the glee of birthday fic! In my defence, I wasn't looking at my friends page when I wrote that, and it was pre-coffee. I don't actually think without coffee...
Anyway, I was looking at the debrief, and was struck, once again, by the large number of non-gen stories, and Lokei's gen entries sitting all by themselves. It made me think, "This is what happens when Fig goes away".

Welcome home and yay for safe travels!

Mostly the internet has continued to be eaten alive by racefail'09 and the porn battle, so you probably missed very little you'd be interested in reading. Which I guess is good for short catch-up?

And I finally broke through and wrote something for the first time since early October, but it's emphatically not something you'd be interested in. Now to take that re-found writing ability and apply it to the gen WiPs sitting lonely in the corner of my hard drive.

Near as I can tell LJ has been exploding since I got home. It's a bit overwhelming (I mean, there's been some *really* good stuff also) but, yeah, I think this wouldn't have been your week.

Writing. I'm trying. I'm a bit overwhelmed with writer's block and time constraints (real life has dumped something in my lap that is simultaneously exiting and terrifying and will eat my brain until mid-March) and stargate_summer and all the other WiPs and the longer things just look scary, you know? Short one-shots less so.

(YAY marvelous trip and yay to family togetherness. That would be the problem with spread-out families but it makes the get-togethers all the more sweet)
