Lots of people wrote episode tags for the second half of S10 when those episodes first aired outside the United States. These authors, for the most part, were courteous enough to warn potential readers that their fics contained spoilers for those eps, and like many other readers out there, I didn't read them.
But now the episodes are airing in the States, and everyone is busy playing catch-up. So what happens to all those fics that we didn't manage to read when they were first posted?
sg1_debrief has all the back issues available, of course; but fics there are categorized by pairing, not by subject matter, and not everyone is a member of the newsletter. (why not?)
I'm appealing to fanfic writers to post links to their episode tags as the related episode airs, so that all of us can enjoy them. Or maybe someone could create a new comm specifically for that purpose, where authors could post links to their own LJ posts. Either way, it would be of mutual benefit for everybody: the authors would get more readers, the readers would get more fics, and even those readers who caught the stories the first time around might want to enjoy reading them again! :)
