Fic rec: Canon SG-1 meets Fanon SG-1!

Take a look here and enjoy Niamaea's hilarious take on the five fanon universes that the canon SG-1 visits through the Quantum Mirror.

There's the Sam/Jack one: "Apparently they were having the ceremony in the gate room."

The Jack/Daniel one. Even a gen girl like me has heard about the beagles; some things are impossible to avoid.

The kid!fic one: "It was too terrifying to be worth any possible information they might have gained."

The multi-ship one: "...they caught sight of Janet Fraiser chasing Paul Davis around a corner, wearing the shortest lab coat any of them had ever seen..."

And, of course, the Dannyboy!universe: "...apparently the paper cut had turned infected despite Dr. Fraiser’s best efforts, and Danny was bravely fighting for his life, while the rest of the team sat vigil at his bedside."

Absolute gold, especially the final Teal'c zinger! Go read this one, and put a grin on your face. :)

True story: I was sick one day and basically just laying in bed with nothing to do, and happened across a conversation on the Beaglefic (which I had at that point heard of but had never read.) So I went to the website.

It is everything everyone says it is and more. Beaglefic consumed my soul and spat it back out all chewed up, three days later. I skipped ahead to the part with all the kids. It's almost hypnotic.

And that, boys and girls, is why Niamaea has read an entire 'story arc' of beagle fic. (Gotta hand it to the author, though. Hey, if if makes you happy!)

Er. Never read Beaglefic, no. My trusty Shield of Gen +20 protects me! :)

As you say, though, it's impossible not to come across references, at the very least. Which is why I was giggling at your AU #2.
