Fic rec: Canon SG-1 meets Fanon SG-1!

niamaea  has written a Five Things that had me absolutely crying with laughter - especially, of course, #4.

Take a look here and enjoy Niamaea's hilarious take on the five fanon universes that the canon SG-1 visits through the Quantum Mirror.

There's the Sam/Jack one: "Apparently they were having the ceremony in the gate room."

The Jack/Daniel one. Even a gen girl like me has heard about the beagles; some things are impossible to avoid.

The kid!fic one: "It was too terrifying to be worth any possible information they might have gained."

The multi-ship one: "...they caught sight of Janet Fraiser chasing Paul Davis around a corner, wearing the shortest lab coat any of them had ever seen..."

And, of course, the Dannyboy!universe: "...apparently the paper cut had turned infected despite Dr. Fraiser’s best efforts, and Danny was bravely fighting for his life, while the rest of the team sat vigil at his bedside."

Absolute gold, especially the final Teal'c zinger! Go read this one, and put a grin on your face. :)

Stargate SG-1 1015 Bounty

Oh, SG-1. And you were doing so well in this second half of the season…

Most of this was typed out as I watched, although I went back and added some extra comments here and there. Spoilers ahead, obviously!

Conclusion: Despite some nice character bits here and there, this was not the ep of Stargate that we were supposed to see. Someone accidently filmed the screenplay of a badly-written fanfic instead.

Now I can go read the reviews on my flist, and Whee! Got my sd_ficathon back from my marvelous beta! Time for the fun stuff. :)
