Congratulations, Isis Winners!

So, the Isis Awards winners were announced yesterday, I think. I wandered over there to check things out. I am so smug about my very talented flist. :)

Congratulations to moonshayde and linnet_101 and surrealphantast and randomfreshink for their awards! And, of course, to the rest of the winners. And many, many thanks to the people who voted for me - I am very honored to be awarded second place, especially right behind moonshayde. :)

I've been wondering, a little, about the size of the Isis Awards. It doesn't seem to have been heavily promoted here in LJLand, which is the only corner of the fandom that I really frequent. What kind of numbers are involved in the nominating/voting process?

Kudos to the mods for their hard work! Banners are apparently forthcoming. I do hope there will be some kind of notification to the winners, though.

Yay! Congratulations!

I've heard murmurings that the Isis awards are smaller/less advertised this year - but I can't really speak from experience. I know there were new mods this year, and it certainly can't be easy to get something like that going, you know?

New mods, yes. Not sure how that translates into size of participation. I don't know how large it's been in past years, either. Like you, I don't have the experience to tell.

Yep. Until the 20th.
I started poking around yesterday - haphazardly nominating. I'm sure I'm going to miss something good I wanted to remember to nominate, but, well, whatever. If it's really good, other people will catch it I hope.
