So, the Isis Awards winners were announced yesterday, I think. I wandered over there to check things out. I am so smug about my very talented flist. :)

Congratulations to [personal profile] moonshayde and [profile] linnet_101 and [profile] surrealphantast and [personal profile] randomfreshink for their awards! And, of course, to the rest of the winners. And many, many thanks to the people who voted for me - I am very honored to be awarded second place, especially right behind [personal profile] moonshayde. :)

I've been wondering, a little, about the size of the Isis Awards. It doesn't seem to have been heavily promoted here in LJLand, which is the only corner of the fandom that I really frequent. What kind of numbers are involved in the nominating/voting process?

Kudos to the mods for their hard work! Banners are apparently forthcoming. I do hope there will be some kind of notification to the winners, though.

New mods, yes. Not sure how that translates into size of participation. I don't know how large it's been in past years, either. Like you, I don't have the experience to tell.

Either way, as you say, YAY! And thank you. :)

Stargate Fan Awards - I think there's less than a week left, to nominate, isn't there? We'd better get cracking!

Yep. Until the 20th.
I started poking around yesterday - haphazardly nominating. I'm sure I'm going to miss something good I wanted to remember to nominate, but, well, whatever. If it's really good, other people will catch it I hope.
