If you haven't yet heard, [community profile] apocalypse_kree has revealed the list of prompts. If you've ever wanted to try your hand at writing apocafic, now's the time! There's something there for everyone - team, gen, pairings, whatever. I'm too much a fan of happy endings to tackle a prompt myself, but I was almost tempted by prompt #64: "Robot SG-1 finds they really, really can't go home again--because Earth is gone. Can be AU or a manipulation of canon in which they weren't really destroyed in Double Jeopardy."  Whew! Now that sounds familiar. Is it overly arrogant of me to wonder if the prompter read In Search of Possibilities? :)

On the more squeeful side of things, [personal profile] moonshayde is hosting a celebration of SG-1 for this last week of the season, featuring a different character each day. So far we've had Jack, Daniel, and Sam. Wander over there and join in the fun!

(when I read that prompt, I thought of your story and wondered if you prompted it)

You can write apocafic with a happy ending! A few of the prompts are even geared toward it! (definitely not encouraging you. Oh no. No encouragement at all. *pokes*)

Well, as long as it wasn't jut me. :)

Yes, apocafic can have a happy ending, but... it takes a little too long to get there. I'm sure I'll read and enjoy many of the fics that come out, but I'll leave the writing to others!

Foo. I cannot do another ficathon right now, which makes me sad. There are several of those prompts which are most tempting. *sigh* (Glad to see the Jonas, Langara, Ori prompt has already been snapped up--I've been dying to read such a fic.)
