Because I have no time to write any fic today, and I don't want the day to just meander past without any notice, here are a few of my favorite Daniel music vids! I skipped most of the Daniel/Sha're ones, and the Meridian ones, because I wanted this to be a mostly cheerful list. :) I skipped the Jack and Daniel friendship ones, too, because I've got more than enough of those for a separate post.
Zero to Hero, by OneofAradia. Her website sadly seems to be down. If anyone knows of a way to get hold of this hilarious vid online, which celebrates Daniel's evolution from the movie through the first seven years of the show, please comment and let me know!
My Sacrifice, by Cathy. This one also seems to be currently unavailable. This is one of my absolute favorites, telling the story of Daniel's part in Reckoning, with some amazingly clear meta on the Sam and Daniel friendship thrown in for good measure. (At least, that's how I understood Cathy's treatment of Replicarter's choices.)
Make Your Own Kind of Music, by Gayalondiel. Sweet and charming, it highlights Daniel's unique perspective and his determination to hold fast to his principles and beliefs. This one, too, seems to be a dead website. Is it unethical of me to offer to send these three vids (and OneofAradia's Giant that I recced last time), which are saved on my hard drive, to people who would like to see them?
Fields of Innocence, by Glenda. Angsty and aching, this vid shows Daniel's brightest and darkest moments in turn. Any music vid that incorporates the movie (and wow, the lighting contrast!) is a good thing in my book. It's the first vid on the page.
Tubthumping, by Cherry Brandy. It's a cheerful salute to Daniel-whumping, and Daniel's amazing weeble-gene!
Me and You (or You and Me?), by Brihana. Yes, a Daniel and Vala vid rec for me! And the world isn't even coming to an end. This hilarious vid is strictly from Prometheus Unbound and is both frenetic and frantic... and ends just perfectly. :)
