I've been on LJ for less than a year, and all my posts have been centered wholly on the SG-1 fandom. So I'm still missing some details of etiquette and nuances that everyone else seems to already know.

Through my efforts as one of the taggers for [community profile] sg1_debrief, I have discovered that when some munificent author bequeaths you with a fic at your request, it's common courtesy to not only comment at the author's LJ, but also to note it in your own. I have been sadly defunct in that respect, even though I've recced several of these in [community profile] stargateficrec. :( So, since [personal profile] moonshayde just gifted me with a sweet little timestamp fic, I'm taking the opportunity to thank everyone who has written ficlets for me. My heartfelt apologies for the belated acknowledgment, and ::hugs:: to all of you!

In no particular order, then:

Thanks, guys. :)

Author's note
: My first SG-1 fic, and not exactly in my regular style! This was written for [info]sgfortunecookie , where participants are issued a random fortune and have to write a story around it. Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] downloadable08  for finally giving me the impetus to write something for this lovely fandom, and to [livejournal.com profile] randomfreshink  for the intelligent and insightful beta. Feedback in all shapes and flavors welcomed.
