I've been on LJ for less than a year, and all my posts have been centered wholly on the SG-1 fandom. So I'm still missing some details of etiquette and nuances that everyone else seems to already know.
Through my efforts as one of the taggers for
sg1_debrief, I have discovered that when some munificent author bequeaths you with a fic at your request, it's common courtesy to not only comment at the author's LJ, but also to note it in your own. I have been sadly defunct in that respect, even though I've recced several of these in
stargateficrec. :( So, since
moonshayde just gifted me with a sweet little timestamp fic, I'm taking the opportunity to thank everyone who has written ficlets for me. My heartfelt apologies for the belated acknowledgment, and ::hugs:: to all of you!

I have every intention of sticking strictly to fandom posts. But those little etiquette details still tend to escape me. I'm just sorry it took so long for me to figure this one out.

But to be honest, I think most people like comments the best. Pimping a fic is just like icing on the cake.
And heh. I don't have many cool icons, but there are a couple that make me smile. I need more *team* icons.
