sg_betty is the queen of fan presents! First she made me a Sam and Daniel vid as per my request, and now she's designed an absolutely stunning LJ header for my rec archive.

I've reverted to the Smooth Sailing theme there because I shamelessly ripped Pepper's CSS coding off redial_the_gate and it wasn't working with the theme I had before. But who cares? :)

Like I said, I just shamelessly copied and pasted it from Redial's customize page. :)

I would've liked to stick to my old theme, but it didn't seem to show up there. I have no idea why.

Is there any way to shade the space on either side of the header to a darker color, or will that affect the shading of the entire page?
