A few public service announcements for SG-1 fandom:

Nominations for the Stargate Fan Awards run through December 31st. Now's the time to nominate your favorite fanworks and offer a little recognition to those who have added to your fandom squee! Don't forget: it's perfectly legitimate to nonimate multiple fanworks from a single author, and also to nominate your own work. (I have a personal bias to self-noms, so I can't do it myself, but the rules definitely stress that people are welcome to nominate their own stories or vids or whatever.)

Hey, Tejas, if you're reading this: what's the SFA policy on nominating fanworks created by someone who is a member of the SFA team?

Next: Isis Awards! Yes, I know this is the realm of Ship-Free Stargate. :) But I confess a soft spot for the rare ship awards, which pay tribute to Daniel/Sha're, so... voting was delayed for a while, but is now running through January 17.

And for those who may have noticed :) Tallulah Rasa's website host took her page down with no warning, but she's moved to a new server and is up and running again. Her new website is here. She's asked me to let her know if there are any dropped links, so if you find one, comment here and I'll pass it on. Or e-mail her directly and let her know how fantastic her writing is - I'm not her only fangirl by far. :)

Umm ... I went over to the fan awards site and tried to get the form to nominate someone and got a blank page!

I'm not a mod or member there, but have you registered yet? Are you logged in? Once you get past those steps, it's pretty straightforward. (Although I really wish they would fix some of the font colors in the nomination form...)
