Happy birthday to randomfreshink, who allowed a shameless fangirl to "beta" her stories (i.e. to get to read them first) and then graciously agreed to beta said fangirl's fics for her in the bargain.

Random has been the most marvelous beta reader for me. She helps me find the rhythms in my fics - not only in phrasing, but also in storylines. I've learned a lot from her, and I've said more than once that she is worth her weight in weapon's grade naquadah. :)

Random, your birthday present will be going up some time today (I hope). Unbetaed under the circumstances, because asking you to beta your own birthday fic lacks class. ;)

Heh,this is why I went with icons--that and I'm sending a story for beta way, way too often for a story to be special!

I'd just like to second the 'Random is a treasure, both as a writer and a beta reader'!
