Just passing on a reminder to those on my flist who are Stargate Fan Awards nominees (because I revel in the vastly talented corner of the fandom right here, yay!):

Nominations have to be placed by Tuesday, March 31. If you had a problem with deletions, the technical problem has since been resolved. So be sure to place your noms in the right categories and delete anything this is ineligible, duplicated, or beyond the maximum number. And if there's any problem, you can contact the SFA team with the contact form on the site.

And thanks to the SFA team for all their hard work!

is it too late to nominate things? because i've been trying to do that and can't figure out how. i'm hoping, meanwhile, that i've done everything right with my three noms (i was nominated! three times! whee!)

To nominate, yes, I'm afraid it's been too late for that since January 10th or so. :) What's needed is for people to place nominations, if I understand correctly. As in, SG-1 -> Gen -> Character -> Daniel -> Apocafic, just by random example. ;) (Is there a category for apocafic?)

Congrats on your nominations! Which three? And oooh, pretty take on your icon - I don't remember seeing that coloring before.

Ooh, an apocafic cat. I'll toss that suggestion into the hopper for next year. :-) There do seem to be quite a few floating around. :-)

To be honest, a category that would be really useful would be character study. I mean, as long as you're taking suggestions... :)

Agreed. I thought of that as I was writing that in as the sub-category for two of my nominations. :-)

I actually have it in three different colors, thanks to the glorious [livejournal.com profile] hsapiens.

The noms are "Too True To Say Goodbye To You", "All Heads Turn When The Hunt Goes By", and the GEN version of "Till Human Voices Wake Us". I am cracking the fuck up at having two GEN stories nominated, yanno.

The trouble is, "Human Voices" is behind a password, and will be until Dreamwidth goes live, when I'll put it up on my journal there. The other two are available. *shrug*

::is gleeful at general gen awesomeness::

You know how much I adored your gen version of THVWU!

I know you have your reasons for flocking your LJ, but if you wanted a temporary archive so people could read the fic for the Awards... Just offering. If it's not presumptuous.

not at all! talk to me....

I'd be more than happy to post your fic here, on my LJ, for the interim...? E-mail me at sg1.fig at gmail and we can discuss it properly.

And if it would be easier to just code a straight html file and slap it in webspace, I'd be happy to volunteer the space for it. Just so's you have options :)

She's found a place to put it! And on Dreamwidth, no less. :)

Thank you so much for your kind offer! (she said belatedly) Let me tell you, I was STUNNED to see it all fit in one entry on DW! I'm a tidge worried about the bugginess of the site (since it won't go live until May), so I'm glad to have the back up (front up?) here.
