This one is for [livejournal.com profile] crevanfox, who asked for "SG-1 deals with the Twilight phenomenon." Mind you, I had to visit wiki for this... :) Please be advised that in my version of the SG-1 universe, the books were published several years earlier than they were in our quantum reality. Personally, I'm blaming it on Marty Lloyd. ;)

Summary: "Twilight isn't proof of a fracture in the space-time continuum? Are you sure?" G. ~735 words. Takes place a few weeks after Moebius, with minor spoilers for that episode.

Later this week, I'm off to the States for a visit with family. Despite eight days with no internet access (gasp!) I am very much looking forward to it. :)

However, I'll have fourteen or so hours of travel time (a little less on the way back), so I'm looking for recs. Naturally I would love it if someone could rec some good solid SG-1 gen I haven't read yet! And podfic would be just fantastic. There seems to be very little gen podfic out there, sadly (although [livejournal.com profile] malnpudl would like to do something about that - if you've got any to recommend for her, go read her post.)

Other than SG-1, I love anything in various fandoms below the cut. )

But back to SG-1. :) Our last SG-1 Gen Fic Day was back in late October, so it's time for another one! No Alphabet Soup this time, so it's up to all of you to write your own gen story or ficlet or drabble or commentfic for February 2nd. Fic, meta, art, vids - anything goes, as long as it's gen and SG-1!

Feel free to browse through previous Gen Fic Day contribution at the round-ups, linked here. And spread the word to your own flists, please - start writing some fic in honor of our first Gen Fic Day of 2009, so we can take back the glee - and bring on the squee. :)

I'm flooding your flists today, aren't I? I'm sorry about that, but not sorry for pointing you all to [livejournal.com profile] kellifer_fic's offer of writing alternate POVs to scenes from her fics! Look what she did for me: Teal'c's POV of a crucial scene from Kaboom! Because really, is there anything as marvelous as Teal'c and Daniel friendship? :)

Thanks, Kellifer.
