So here we finally have the last of the ten for the team ficlets, which I offered to write... oh, nearly twelve months ago. This is for aurora_novarum, who asked for the team introducing Teal'c to a new culture or food, or vice versa. This is not actually the fic I wanted to write, which is a Teal'c introspective post-1969 that refuses to settle on the right POV. But I wanted at the very least to finish the challenge in the same calendar year, so Aurora gets Teal'c pwnage of the team instead. That's always easy to do, anyway. :)

Summary: The team discovers that Chulakian customs aren't as alien as you might think. ~1,130 words. No spoilers, any season. Rated G.

I've been working on a rather depressing fic, but it's proving difficult. So you all get this silly fluff instead. :)

thraesja asked, way back in January, about the training exercise that Daniel mentions in Proving Ground -- the one which prompts him to say, "I like this scenario way better than the last one," and "You did tell them to take me prisoner this time and not shoot me, right?" It only took ten months, but here you go!

Summary: Janet wants to know how SG-1 managed to land Daniel in the infirmary this time! Rated G. Set before Proving Ground, but with no spoilers. ~1,020 words.

Happy belated birthday to annerbhp, who brings glee and squee even to gen fans who don't go for the stupid cute! :D

And since, in her last icon comment challenge, she mentioned how much she'd enjoy reading a gen team cuddling fic... Well, here we are. :)

Summary: The team has to act as a family to gain mineral rights. It's amazing how often Teal'c pwns the rest of the team, even when cuddling is involved. ~620 words. Rated G.

Okay, confessing upfront: this one is unquestionably cracky. I have no idea where this came from...

If anyone is still interested after reading this kind of silliness, I am still taking prompts. It's going slowly, but at least ten of them will get written. Eventually. :)

For sg_betty, who used the icon below as her prompt, and ivorygates, who wanted classic children's literature, which this definitely is not. So. Um. Yeah. Crackfic. Set sometime in S2, when the team isn't quite sure yet when Teal'c is messing with their heads. No spoilers. ~1,650 words. Longer than the maximum word limit for these things, but it's two prompts in one, so... Ah well.

Summary: The team tackles a monster off-world, and identification comes from a surprising source. The team should know that Teal'c pwns all by now.
