Let's see, now...

While playing catch-up with e-mail, I see that I missed a few birthdays on my flist while I was gone (besides Aurora's, heh). So happy birthday to Zats and Ultranos! May your skills in writing (fic, captions, and all) and your presence in the fandom never fade. :)

A quick reminder that October 27th will be SG-1 Gen Fic Day. Whether you plan to contribute a ficlet to our Alphabet Soup or write an independent story or rec a favorite gen fic or just read and comment, I hope you'll be joining us! Also, there are still two letters available for our Jack Alpha-Bits. If you're interested in writing a Jack ficlet on "R is for..." or "Y is for..." whatever, then go to the claims post and comment there with your choice.

In not-necessarily-gen news (gasp!), the Stargate Music Video awards have opened for nominations. Check out the link and consider nominating a favorite vid. I've never made a vid myself, but I know and appreciate that they require hours of painstaking work to create three or five minutes of visual art! Both SG-1, SGA, and crossover vids are eligible.

I'll be around for the next half-day or so, then off again until next week. Probably.

Write me lots of gen fic, meanwhile... :)

Another thing, you *really* need to see the SGA two parter for Season 5. Yeah, yeah. No. You REALLY NEED to see it.
