Icons: Sam and Kawalsky

So, the Fall Fandom Free-For-All is ending next week. I was fortunate enough to have five requests fulfilled: two Teal'c and Daniel friendship fics, a Sam and Daniel friendship vid, a banner for the rec archive, and a podfic of one of my stories. With all that amazing generosity, I felt that writing a single fic just wasn't enough!

There's not much that's gen SG-1 related in the requests, though. I very much wanted to fulfill one of sg_betty's requests, but she was looking for long plotty gen fic, and sadly, I don't have the time for that right now (::cough:: Jack Alpha-Bits ::cough::)

So, here be icons. less_star asked for icons featuring Sam and Charlie Kawalsky. I'm not very good with graphics, but I tried my best. Ten from COTG, and one from Enemy Within. And, um. ::looks furtive:: Two of them might be considered... shippy.

Kalquessa? You're not planning a coup, are you? ;)

I missed a lot of Redial over this last month, including some really excellent eps. I'll have to go back and add several links to the fanworks! :) For now, a bit of meandering meta...

Four days to go! SG-1 Gen Fic Day and Jack Alpha-Bits!

On Monday, October 27th, we go live with SG-1 Gen Fic Day! On that day, comment at the main post with links to stories, comment fic, links to WIPs, fic recs, meta, even graphics or vids - anything, as long as it's gen and related to SG-1!

And don't forget that Jack Alpha-Bits are due then, too! If you're participating, comment at the post with the link to the fic on your own LJ, and include a para or two of the ficlet for good measure! (Or the whole thing, even, if it's short enough.)

If you've signed up for Jack Alpha-Bits and you can't get 100 words written by Monday, then please let me know now. Send an e-mail to my gmail address (sg1.fig) as soon as possible!

There are two people who have already volunteered as back-up writers, but if you're willing to pinch-hit in case of emergencies, please e-mail me and let me know. :)
