Pesach begins here in about seven hours, so expect me to be off-line for most of the next week or so. I might find some time in the intermediate days to day a bit of browsing, so if there's anything you think I'll enjoy, please link to it here.

It's Daniel's turn for the Speaking of SG-1 series, so comment here with prompts for gen Daniel drabbles. No promises for first come, first served, and classic team is more likely than new team, but I'll do my best! I'll choose 12 of them from both entries (LJ and DW) and post them all at once sometime towards the end of next week.

Just sent off a sample chapter to a prospective client, YAY.

As we're halfway through Chanukah, how about some happy drabble prompts? Anything SG-1 based (and gen, heh). No holiday themes - just something happy!

This is for curuchamion, who asked for "Jack O'Neill, tac vest." I'm not quite sure where this came from, but I hope you'll enjoy this anyway. And a very happy birthday. :)

There's so much I want to write, but RL writing seems to be eating up all my creative skills, leaving all those poor WIPs weeping softly and commiserating among themselves. They're getting kind of annoying, frankly. So I want to get some fandom writing done just to get them off my back.

So what else should I do but ask for more prompts? :)

On that note, I have been sadly neglectful on wishing so many of you a happy birthday of late. So if you had a birthday in October or will be having one in November, please leave me a prompt below: a character from classic SG-1 (S1-8) and a word/phrase. (Yes, Aurora, this will leave me with three prompts for you that are as of yet unwritten, but do leave one anyway!) These will probably end up being drabbles, but at this point, I'll just be happy if I write something.

Because I don't have enough to-write prompts on my list :) I want to write some drabbles for halfamoon, which celebrates women in fandom through February 14.

So with the bad taste out of my mouth, I need a happier distraction! Prompt me with icons for SG-1 gen ficlets, seasons 1-8. I'll take the first five - maybe more, depending on my whim. Also, I want to boost the signal for gate_women. They're having a ficathon (art included) that emphasizes the women of Stargate - with gen as a preference, so the shipping doesn't distract from the women's awesomeness! Of course I'm going to like something like that. :) The theme this time is "firsts." They're looking for prompts right now, so go and contribute!

And if nobody takes my Sha'uri prompt, I'll probably claim it myself, heh.

I will lemming after lokei and make the following offer, with minor benevolent dictatrix revisions: The first TEN people to comment at my LJ t get to request a drabble of ANY SG-1 character of their choosing from me (with a prompt, if it pleases you to give me one). In return, those who feel inspired can post this in their journal.

I will add the caveat that while I will try to take the word "drabble" literally, I will allow a certain margin of error in word count.
